Also, you need to provide a safe climb. Good ladder with handrails and additional protection, small height, reliability and stability of the slide.

The base can be built from timber, the upper platform and the descent limiters can be made from boards, as well as steps.

To assemble the product, you need to choose a reliable fastener - bolts, nuts and washers, but the lowering guides should be fixed with glue or back fastening so that there are no nails, screws and bolts on the sliding plane.

Of metal

There are few structural differences from a wooden structure, only the tree is changed to metal. If anyone remembers, metal slides used to stand in every yard and, interestingly, could serve for decades with normal care.

It is important to note what kind of design will be the descent of a children's slide. Most often, these are two pipes with a certain bend, which descend down from the upper platform and rest against the ground. The chute is a sheet of metal welded to these two pipes. It's very simple, but you need to initially determine the loads on the whole hill and its descent, and based on these data, select the material for construction.

When assembling a children's structure, it is important to take into account the quality of welding and the mandatory grinding of all welds and other joints. This process is performed by the grinder.

Further, the hill is painted, and the descent is well polished. It is highly desirable that it consists of a single piece of sheet metal, without seams.
