House porch

Beautiful large porch - the dream of the owner of each house. We will show you two projects: the first is how to build a high porch of a house on a slope, the second is the construction of a cozy porch on a site open on all sides.

This house is located on a small slope, and the steps of the old porch, not only were steep, but literally buried in the depths of the veranda.

Because there was a greater desire to hold meals and coffee in the street, the place for the new porch was chosen next to the kitchen, from which there would be direct access to the porch.

At the beginning of the concreted columns under the porch and set on them support. The porch will be without a canopy and the height of the supports corresponds to the height of the porch plus the height of the railing.

Because in the old porch were high steps, then for the new porch used two techniques that make the steps more comfortable. It was not beautiful to just make the sloping stairs much better, because the staircase was very long. Therefore, the exit from the porch was divided into several levels: two wide steps from the house to the porch, five ordinary steps from the porch to the patio, and two steps from the porch to the gazebo.

In order for the tree on the steps not to slide in bad weather - extreme steps made with anti-slip ribs.

From the neighbors' side the porch is sewn with wooden planks, from the garden side there is a glazing for the railing. The space under the porch is used to store garden furniture.

For frameless glazing using safety tempered glass. This is a rather expensive decision, but here it was dictated by the desire to have a beautiful view of the garden from the house. In addition, the glazing area is small and the costs are almost reasonable.

This design of the porch allowed to create a feeling of complete presence in the garden.

The extension of the porch to the house required some work inside the house itself. It looks like a dining room near the kitchen before the construction of the porch.

This room directly adjoins the kitchen.

In the framework of the porch extension project, a new window unit with a door was installed in the kitchen.

Now you can leave the dining room right on the porch.

Or enjoy the view of the garden directly from the house.

The construction of this porch solved the long-standing problem of this private house, when high steps made it difficult for many descents from the house to the garden and back.

The area next to the porch was convenient and practical. Near the gazebo put a brazier with a table and it turned out a great dining in the garden.

The task in the construction of this porch was as follows: the porch should be large, beautiful and closed from the side of the road.

The old porch dismantled and installed concrete slabs under the supports.

The exit from the porch will be on two sides - the steps are made wide enough so that it is comfortable to descend from the porch.

From the side of the road they installed a decorative wooden partition with high long windows.
