Application

Diamond cold welding, based on epoxy resins, is mostly used where there are no alternatives. It is also allowed to use the composition for repairing broken ceramics, including dishes. It can even replace lost fragments of cups and plates. Of course, as with the use of other adhesives, it will be necessary to work on cleaning the surfaces from all sorts of impurities. After the reagent has hardened, the restored areas should be ground, painted and polished, depending on the specific situation.

The universal composition is suitable even for plumbing, successfully eliminating leaks in tanks and pipes. The same mixture copes well with the restoration of tightness of gasoline tanks. The disadvantage of a universal solution is that it is not designed for very low and very high temperatures. There is a special plumbing option that is ideal for the reconstruction of sinks and washbasins made of porcelain, earthenware and other materials. External white color contributes to effective masking of the seam and improves the perception of plumbing.

Particular attention should be paid to glue on wood. He confidently copes not only with wood in the proper sense of the word, but also with chipboard, MDF, with other wood-based materials. Judging by the reviews, this composition helps a lot in the repair and reconstruction of furniture products. The form of reconstructed joints is very different: you can use it to restore the integrity of the seams in the shape of the letter T, or located at the end, or placed at an angle. Due to this glue, it is possible to increase the strength of the joints with the help of screws, if you carefully spread the ends of the fastener.

Heat-resistant cold welding for road transport performs well during the reconstruction of threaded connections in the household. After this treatment, the composition is attached better, dries faster and keeps the parts to be joined more confidently. An attractive solution in some situations is glue with a filling of steel. It works well with the same steel, ceramics, organic glass.

It is recommended to wear strong work gloves before using “Almaz”. The mixture can maintain plasticity longer if it is thoroughly heated. For a more stable bond between the surfaces, it is necessary to fix the parts with a clamp (vice) between the surfaces or to press them against each other with a load.
