Brick wall laying
In our country, the widespread distribution of bricks due to its excellent technical characteristics and the relative availability of the material. For example, a wall of ceramic bricks holds heat twice better than a similar vertical construction of solid concrete. Good thermal conductivity is the result of the presence of numerous pores in the brick, and the air is the perfect heat insulator.
How is brickwork internal walls
In a private house or city apartment, interior partitions are constructed mainly of brick or plasterboard. Constructions made of ceramic or silicate elements are more suitable for people who value strength and solidity in everything. Depending on the type of wall, masonry can be made in a quarter, a half or a whole stone bkl-stone.ru.
It must be remembered that partitions do not tolerate rigid fixation. On three sides the wall is flexibly clamped, only with the floor surface is a rigid grip. The technology provides in places of contact between the plane of the partition and the existing wall to install “verticals” of steel reinforcement with a diameter of 12 mm. They are attached to the entire length of the room, and only after that begins the process of laying.
In the production of brick partitions, along with the vertical horizontal reinforcement takes place. Starting from the level of the floor between the vertical rods, steel wire is passed through every 700 mm of the wall. The last 3 rows on top are fully reinforced. Brick for masonry, according to state standards in the field of construction, take with a mark on the strength of at least 75. Read: Wall insulation foam
Mortar mortar for interior partitions
Ceramic or silicate brick on construction and repair facilities is laid on the cement-sand mortar. The brand of the mixture is chosen not lower than 100. Water is added to dry materials so that the liquid solution does not spread; at the same time, an excessively dry mixture is not allowed. If a part of the wall is to be demolished, it is strictly forbidden to reuse the solution that has already been used.
Features of the construction of brick partitions
It must be remembered that the construction of brick partitions is carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of building codes. So, if the height of partitions is more than 3 m, then half-timbered racks should be installed after every 2 m of masonry (their steel moldings can be made as well as high-grade reinforced concrete). If the ceiling height does not exceed 3 m, and the length is 3 m or more, so-called pins are installed at the top every 1.5 m. They are U-shaped steel elements for flexible fastening of the upper part of the partition.
There are standards for the thickness of horizontal and vertical seams. So, the distance between adjacent rows horizontally should not exceed 8-10 mm. Vertical seams are normalized within 10-12 mm. In places where the plane of the partition with the capital structure mates, the space is clogged with foam or tow. It is forbidden to monochrome these voids, as in this case we are not talking about flexible trapping.
