Oriental style in the interior - the sophistication and
What is the difference between different styles of the East?
Tired of the uniformity of modern interiors, many seek to equip their apartment in oriental style. Speaking of the East, we must remember that it combines several different directions. This is the cultural heritage of the Arab countries, as well as the countries of the Far East. The oriental style in the interior became especially popular due to the “exoticism” attracting a representative of European culture.
Arabic style
The Arab East has long been famous for its luxury and wealth. Fabulous, full of bliss and passion, he struck the imagination of inexperienced Europeans. Being a fusion of strict dogmas of the Koran and centuries-old traditions, the Arabic style has its own views on the interior. A room in the Oriental style is always full of details - whether it is intricate embroidery on decorative pillows or skilful, like the thinnest lace, carving on pieces of furniture. The style is distinguished by a predisposition to bright hues - deep turquoise, red, rich ocher, and, especially, gold, designed to highlight the richness of the interior, as well as vaulted ceilings, arches and various cozy niches. Oriental style in the Arabic interior is, above all, an abundance of fabric (drapery on the walls, air canopies, exquisite carpets woven by skilled craftswomen) and decorative mosaic or ornamental painting, as well as carving. Arab furniture is distinguished by smooth curves and rich finish. These are ottomans, low sofas and fancy forms of tables, at which they sit, sitting on pillows. Organically in such an interior will look such items as exquisite hookahs, narrow-necked jugs and vases with chasing, elegant gold boxes.
Tip: You can make many decorative objects with your own hands. For example, pillows, rollers and poufs for sitting.

Chinese style
Color in the traditions of Chinese art carries a certain meaning, obeying Feng Shui philosophy. This ancient Chinese teaching tells how to properly organize life and life in such a way as to balance the flow of yin and yang energies, as well as achieve harmony and make wealth and health its faithful companions. According to it, relationships are built between people, wildlife, and the environment artificially created by human hands. The interior in oriental style in this case implies the use of natural materials in finishing (rattan, bamboo, precious woods), a rich color palette (the presence of red, gold, green colors is preferable), the presence of screens for zoning living space. Chinese-style furniture items are made of lacquered wood of brown or reddish hues. Patterns can be applied to the surface of the products - interlacing of colors or hieroglyphs with the skillful hands of people turned into an ornament. The furniture is low and wide, resembling a rectangle or square in its outlines. It may seem that there are too many accessories in the Chinese interior, but this impression is deceptive. Of course, the photos on the walls here will look inappropriate. A special place for the Chinese is occupied by free space, so it is important to observe the measure when choosing a decor, despite the fact that its range is diverse. This is Chinese porcelain from which vases, tea sets, figurines and other items are made: rice paper, bamboo and silk for fans, lamp shades, napkins, screens; fresh flowers and compositions of them.
Tip: The traditional design of the apartment in the oriental style of China implies an introduction to the interior of the three main colors - red, white and black. Feng Shui ascribes to this combination the ability to harmonize the situation in the house. Bright accents can be arranged in orange. This will attract wealth and good fortune to the house.

Japanese style
It is known that Japan borrowed a lot of Chinese culture, including the art of creating an interior. But the distinctive feature of the Japanese was that they were not just blindly copying ideas and things, but rethinking them within their life philosophy, giving them a new “sound”. The Japanese style, unlike the Chinese, seems almost ascetic. It is characterized by clear lines, a minimum of bright colors and decor. Japanese furniture does not have such obvious decorations in the form of carving or multi-layered varnishing, like Chinese, although, like it, it tends to be simple geometric shapes. Practical Japanese also borrowed the idea of space zoning by screens and partitions from the Chinese. The Japanese were proud of their dwellings, equipping them so as to feel themselves in harmony with nature. Therefore, the decoration used natural materials dim close to the colors of nature itself shades - beige, soft gray, cream, muted green. The apartment in the traditionally Japanese Oriental style is filled with light and “air”, the interior is extremely laconic and functional. The decor is minimal. It can be such items as fans, pictures with the image of hieroglyphs and their photos, ikebans (you can make them yourself), and bonsai.
